We are looking to add an Agricultural Commercial Lender to our Fulton Market.
Under the direction of the Regional Market President, this position is responsible for origination, underwriting, and closing secured and unsecured Ag and Commercial loans in accordance with established lending objectives, policies, and procedures, as well as establishing and maintaining positive relationships with existing and potential customers and other financial institutions.
Job DetailsResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers.
Monitor and review past due loans assigned, identify problem or delinquents accounts.
Participate in the extension of credit to agricultural and/or commercial loan customers.
Receive and screen loan applications; request credit status, banking, and other references, conduct on-site inspections, order appraisals, etc.
Review and evaluate customer applications for lines of credit or lines of credit extensions; authorize or recommend the approval of applications in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
Direct and participate in the closing of approved agricultural and/or commercial loan agreements.
Responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations to include the Bank Secrecy Act.
Develop and maintain an active calling program on existing portfolio of customers providing all necessary banking services including loans, deposits, investments, trust services as needed by the customer.
Identify and manage call referrals/joint calls within the bank for other bank-related services for cross-selling opportunities.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDGood verbal communication skills as evidenced by the ability to interact both face-to-face and telephone with customers and team membersPrior sales experienced preferredLending experience preferredAnalytical (statistical), organizations, time management, and problem-solving capabilitiesThe Callaway Bank is an Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer.
