Job Duties:
Monitors and interacts with inmates.
Maintains an awareness and understanding of the Jail's requirements, laws, rules, processes, and procedures in order to sustain a safe environment for staff and inmates.
Reviews inmate records and takes report from outgoing shift.
Books and releases inmates as appropriate, assuring that all necessary paperwork requirements, laws, processes, and procedures are followed.
Shackles and escorts inmates to and from court.
