20 an hour General Description Working under the supervision of the assembly supervisor, this position is responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
Education, Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience Minimum one (1) year general production experience is preferred.
Forklift experience is preferred.
Duties Package finished products according to company standards and specifications Operate hand tools and equipment to assemble and fabricate products Utilize forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse Follow established procedures and guidelines for packaging, labeling, and shipping Maintain a clean and organized work area Experience Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred Knowledge of mechanical operations and basic hand tool usage Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets Skills Proficient in using hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks Experience operating forklifts Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with machinery Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate packaging and labeling Work Environment Industrial manufacturing environment with loud noise level.
Facility is enclosed, ventilated, and heated but not air conditioned.
Safety-toe footwear, safety eyewear, and hearing protection required.
Gloves or other PPE as needed.
Physical Demands Spends more than three-quarters (3/4) of the time standing, kneeling/crouching/stooping, using hands, and reaching.
Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
and occasionally position heavier material with the aid of a lifting device(s).
Generally requires clear vision at close distances for reading blueprints, instructions, and precision measuring instruments.
Schedule Full time.
First shift 5:
30 AM - 3:
45 PM, Monday through Thursday or 5:
30 AM - 3:
45 PM, Tuesday through Friday.
Overtime may be required.
