They should be comfortable with recruiting, administering pre-employment screenings, interviewing, onboarding, communicating benefits information, assisting managers with personnel issues and providing general HR support.
This candidate will work closely with management in order to provide training for employees and establish ways to increase employee engagement.
Our Walsworth - Fulton print production location has a management staff of 5 and approximately 100 employees.
Responsibilities Research and analyze employee trends to understand ways to increase employee engagement and retention Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to daily management of employees Assist management in conflict resolution Set standards for ethics, values and culture of company Onboard new employees and manage immigration documents, taxes and benefits packages Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
2 years of relevant experience (preferred) OR Associate's degree in related field
3 years of relevant experience HRCI or SHRM certification helpful, but not required Experience in a manufacturing or print setting preferred, but not required Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks Proficient in Microsoft Office suite U.
